Title: FGW stole my luggage Post by: Mookiemoo on January 21, 2010, 19:05:45 Well actually my sainsbury bag for life with some toiletries in it
Got on the train at 1708 in Newport and got into G - train was buffet less as I may have alluded to elsewhere After 10 minutes I realised I was in a meat locker so reluctantly moved to H When I got off at Reading - realised I didnt have my carrier bag so went to G - looks like had been picked up for security reasons - however as there was no buffet I could not locate the TM before the train was despatched and my toiletries zoomed on to paddington There were only dregs left in them so I'm not overly bothered bu I wonder how much *I* would have to go out of mty way to retrieve them. Title: Re: FGW stole my luggage Post by: JayMac on January 21, 2010, 19:11:10 Rather inflammatory thread title.
Could your Title: Re: FGW stole my luggage Post by: Mookiemoo on January 21, 2010, 19:37:38 Rather inflammatory thread title. Could your Firstly it was meant tongue in cheek Secondly - there were about 1/2 applications left in each container hence my tongue in cheek attitude - I suspect they could have but I doubt anyone just goes around randomly liftling carrier bags I more suspect the TM/CH saw the carrier abandoned in G and took it away for safe keeping! Title: Re: FGW stole my luggage Post by: JayMac on January 21, 2010, 19:54:15 What you meant is a bit difficult for me to pick up on, just from the written word. That's why we have smileys..... :P ::)

Or maybe thought it was rubbish and threw it away. Which is equally possible but since I deliberately put it between seat backs - you don't normally get rubbish abandoned there! Got our interest, though ;) As a customer service provider / manager (though not on the rails), we've had some fascinating discussions about how to tell what is rubbish that people get upset if you DON'T clear, and something that's still in use if you do. It's suprisingly hard! I think I wrote about this once before ... http://www.wellho.net/mouth/1357_Clean-my-plate-but-keep-my-wine-bottle-PHP-Static-.html Title: Re: FGW stole my luggage Post by: johoare on January 21, 2010, 21:20:41 Rather inflammatory thread title. So hopefully most other people did the same.. Title: Re: FGW stole my luggage Post by: JayMac on January 22, 2010, 00:24:56 bignose <slaps forehead> and says sorry FA. I failed to notice that the topic was in "The Lighter Side". My bad. As I said elsewhere, I am occasionally a muppet :-[

Title: Re: FGW stole my luggage Post by: IndustryInsider on January 26, 2010, 10:05:35 My bad. Can we also have an apology for using that horrible trendy phrase? I absolutely hate it! ;) Title: Re: FGW stole my luggage Post by: paul7575 on January 26, 2010, 11:16:23 My bad. Can we also have an apology for using that horrible trendy phrase?
