Title: Taxi's at Yate...?!
Post by: thetrout on January 20, 2010, 21:32:31
Not sure if this is the best place for this topic so if your a mod, then please feel free to move it ;)

I'll possibly be travelling to Yate tomorrow to visit a client. I intend to make an onward journey from Yate which I cannot make by bus.

So the question is, are there any taxi's that are normally "waiting" to be hired at the station when the train arrives...? or should I try and make a booking with a nearby firm before setting out tomorrow?

Any inside knowledge would be most welcome ;)

As far as I can tell Yate doesn't have a Taxi Rank so you are probably best to prebook if possible.

Agreed: if Yate is anything like NLS, you haven't a hope of seeing a taxi already there waiting, just on the offchance of a fare! ::)

Thanks Gents ;)

I made the journey today and selected a random firm from the traintaxi website :)
