In York, a while back, we were blessed with a cracking North American Lady announcer (mmm, must have been GNER days, come to think of it)...marvellously we got "Edinborrow"...but what the hell, at 7.15am she sounded so sexy. BTW, I've got a Train Sim called BVE and one of the routes is a fictional West Midlands line, loosely modelled around New Street and even this has Phil Sayer announcements! A restaurant service in Standard Class on an ex Bristol TM service..... ::) ???
