Quote British Transport Police (BTP) officers are appealing for witnesses after reports that a man had exposed himself and was abusive towards staff and passengers on board a train between Exeter and Plymouth. Officers were called at about 9.30pm on Thursday 14 January after reports that a man who boarded the 18.03hrs London Paddington to Penzance train at Exeter St Davids station had exposed himself while on board the train. The man is also alleged to have used offensive and insulting language in front of other passengers and members of rail staff. BTP and colleagues from Devon and Cornwall police arrested a 22-year-old man for a public order offence when the train arrived at Plymouth and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone who witnessed any incidents on board the train, or who has information which could help police with their enquiries, is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, quoting log reference 504 of 14/01/2010.
