Post by: grahame on January 15, 2010, 17:16:18 I expect we'll get comment from the "don't forget to upgrade west of Exeter folks" ... that's an average speed of 3960 m.p.h. from Bristol to Exeter, dropping to a paultry 1200 m.p.h.on to Newton Abbott, then just 1920 m.p.h. on to Plymouth.

Title: Re: New high speed train service launched? Post by: JayMac on January 16, 2010, 00:35:09 It would appear that London Midland and Arriva CrossCountry have managed to, secretly, re-fresh their rolling stock with engines running on Dilithium crystals. Normally a guard would give 'two' to the driver on departure at each station. Anyone know what the bell-code for "Ach, she cannae take much more of it Cap'n, if I give her any more, she'll blow" is?

Post by: 6 OF 2 redundant adjunct of unimatrix 01 on January 16, 2010, 02:03:47 actually im pretty sure that its very difficult to create a stable warp field within a planitery atmosphere, perhaps they used a quantem slipstream drive?
