Title: Rail Firms Plan 'To Sneak In Fare Rise Twice A Year'

A number of rail companies , including First Great Western (services into Paddington) and First Capital Connect , are looking at plans to introduce two separate fare increases , possibly in May and September (link below.)

Yes, those are the two firms named in the Daily Telegraph too ... no mention of any Stagecoach, Arriva, National Express or Virgin franchises.  Is this across the board, or just First's initiative?

It has been said that Director General Rail (DfT) Mike Mitchell chaired a relevant meeting , so I am assuming across the board , but not 100% sure.
