Title: Odd search results on NRES - can anyone verify or explain? Post by: Mookiemoo on December 14, 2009, 11:30:10 Need to get back to ludlow tonight
Looked up the 1750 from Reading to Ludlow - says that the leg from Hereford to Ludlow is cancelled due to a landslip. Now two issues with this: 1. Its only 11:30am and that train does not leave Hereford until 2115 - cancellations don't normally get posted that early unless the whole line is closed 2. Every other connection at hereford seems to be showing ok onto arriva services - so how can one train be cancelled due to a landslip? Ironically, the the 1750 is on time, you usually make the earlier train that is an unofficial connection anyway but I'm a bit baffled and bemused by this one Title: Re: Odd search results on NRES - can anyone verify or explain? I needed to put in a 'via WOC' to prevent it routing via Newport. This then produced the required 1750 departure from RDG. No problems shown..... I did not imagine it - I even went to check all the current running sites etc to see if there had been a landslip Queue this one up to some form of new NRES website anomaly will be interesting to see if its a one off or if any others occur.
