I can show you a watch that tells you the time of the next train to Swindon. It's one of those old mechanical jobbies, and got water in it so it doesn't run any more ... but set to 19:47 it's right over half the time.  It's called a "Melksham" watch.   A superior model called a "Pilning", when correctly set, is always right.
