Girl's railway death in West Sussex 'accidental'

A teenager who fell to her death after running alongside a train may have been unsteady on her feet after drinking vodka, an inquest has heard.

Megan Moore, 16, died instantly after slipping between the train and the platform at Angmering station near Littlehampton on 21 November last year.

The combination of wearing heels plus a high level of alcohol may have caused her to slip, investigators said.

Coroner Penelope Schofield said Ms Moore's death was a "tragic accident".
