Hi everyone I stayed in paignton last week with a friend and happend to notice for the whole week there was not one single class 143 on the exmouth/barnstaple/paignton lines have they moved again because I couldent even see any on exeter st davids sidings! Whats happend to them ? :-\

Firstly, poor you  :D

with a friend and happend to notice for the whole week there was not one single class 143 on the exmouth/barnstaple/paignton lines have they moved again because I couldent even see any on exeter st davids sidings! Whats happend to them ? :-\

They will be about, two should be working in Bristol, the other 6 (?) either hidden in the shed at Exeter or working on Devon Metro services. Spending hours at Exeter would probably make it possible to see them all.

plus there are a few stopped at exe and spm depots for various repairs

working on Devon Metro services.

During the thankfully short period the failed Devon metro timetable was in operation under Wessex trains you would be very unlikely to find a 143 anywhere near Devon.
Devon Metro was dumped best part of 5 years ago
