Title: Nailsea unwanted
Post by: Rogang on October 09, 2009, 22:39:37
Sad reflection of the times - two men and a woman ejected from 2Y12 at Nailsea this morning for unsocialble behaviour (and that is an understatement!) responded by turning on the female conductor and spitting in her face. The spit kits that the crews carry may indentify the culprits, and if they do, I hope the courts punish them properly.

Which service is that?

Out of interest, is any warning given to the following trains not to pick them up if they try to continue their journey.

The following trains should be warned by pager message, to conductors and TM's from FGW control. Though in my experience this either happens too late and the trouble makers are picked up by next train, or it doesn't happen at all!

On the contrary. As soon as I had the report, I arranged a pager message and contacted conductors of the next up and down services. Bristol Temple Meads also ensured that advised the next few trains.

That's good to hear. Things have obviously changed since I was a conductor!
