Title: Ticket Query
Post by: marky7890 on September 28, 2009, 22:23:14
Hi,
I am currently building a route of Cornwall in a Railway Simulator Game, and i would like to get photos of St Erth and Penzance.
I was thinking of going from Penryn (my nearest station) to Penzance, then to St Erth, then catch the next train back to Penryn from St Erth, would i be able to do the latter part of the journey with a Penzance - Penryn ticket, instead of buying a Penzance - St Erth and then a St Erth to Penryn Ticket?

Thanks,
Mark

Off-Peak Day Return, Penryn to Penzance (^6.50) allows a break of journey in either direction so you can stop at St Erth in either direction to/from Penzance. If you have other stations you need to visit you could get a Ride Cornwall Day Ranger which allows unlimited travel, including most scheduled bus services, throughout Cornwall after 0900 for ^10.

And I'd be interested to know what sim you are designing the route for.

Thanks bignosemac

I visited both stations yesterday, no one even checked the ticket from St Erth to Penzance or Penzance - Truro

Im making it for Auran Trainz Railway Simulator 2006, been building it for over a year, which will include the 5 passenger branchlines and the mainline.
