Title: Congestion at Slough Station Post by: jessanj on September 22, 2009, 10:50:30 Having posted one topic this morning, I feel the need to vent. Each time I am at Slough Station, I am amazed at the congestion on the staircase between platforms 3 and 4. This is seriously going to injure someone and people lack patience. I think it's high time that an escalator was installed. Does anyone agree?

Although safer in theory escalators take up a lot of room and with people running on them are just as dangerous. The steps you mention are indeed very busy when a train arrives and God forbit you're trying to come down the steps when a peak arrival from Paddington has just rolled in!
