All that's needed is 9 miles of single track and a railcar, not High Speed 2! Ok, new bridge after leaving Barnie to pass under the new road and road crossings to be reinstated but considering that the L&BR reckon on about ^40 million to reinstate 19 miles of 70-odd year old trackbed with numerous missing bridges, washed-away embankments, dozens of landowners and replica rolling stock to build I really can't see where they get this figure from......!
