Title: Re: Negative BBC video Post by: devon_metro on August 16, 2009, 14:08:00 Btline, you strike me as somebody who likes to pick up on the negative points?
HS1 for example ;) Title: Re: Negative BBC video Post by: onthecushions on August 17, 2009, 11:04:10 It was a silly report unworthy of the license-funded BBC, homing in upon a cost of 83M per minute saved neglecting running costs and capacity. Any investment is about nett present value, rate of return or benefit:cost ratio if not narrowly profitable. An electric (F)GW will carry more customers at lower cost. It would happen even if the trains were to run slower. Give Peston a crack at the issue....
