Title: Positives and Negatives
Post by: Mookiemoo on August 12, 2009, 21:13:33
Yes. I was being mildly sarcastic. Sorry.

And I was equally be sarcastic

I guess:

sarcasm + sarcasm = negative sarcasm

A bit like:

minus + minus = positive

!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit note: This, and the following posts, were originally at http://www.firstgreatwestern.info/coffeeshop/index.php?topic=5161.msg48169#msg48169 but I thought they were so good, they deserved a topic of their own. C.  ;)

I meant:

negative + negative = positive

No, it doesn't:  -x + -y = -(x+y)

Adding two negatives gives you a bigger negative. I'm positive about that :P

Bad example Devon. 0 is neither positive nor negative. How about; -1 minus -2 = 1.  ::)
