Title: 2+8s on the oxford fasts...... Post by: Mookiemoo on July 20, 2009, 15:08:57 figure this will expand more to cross the west etc... but....
Can anyone confirm which diagrams the 2+7s are meant to do. i see a large number of them doing the oxford to paddington runs and back - when there's no service on them anyway. Are these little sojourns in the middle oflonger diagrams? What i'm trying to say i guess is, are there any longer journeys missing a buffet because one is trundling to oxford and back? Post by: dog box on July 20, 2009, 17:30:52 Well the 6.08 Westburyto Pad is a 2/7 this then forms the 818 to Exeter..,,there should only be 3 sets without buffets although there are some more 2/7 sets with only 4 stnd class coaches at present. think there is even one with 3 first and 4 stnd about as well.
