Train services are being disrupted due to a broken down train between Swindon and Didcot Parkway.Short notice alterations, cancellations and delays of up to 60 minutes can be expected. Looks like a number of trains also cancelled according to live departure board for Didcot. Also a Henley branch train broken down at Shiplake is blocking the line, with replacement buses running until mid-morning Title: Re: Breakdown delays Post by: devon_metro on July 17, 2009, 12:54:29 Looks like it was 1L20 0559 Swansea - London Paddington that caused the problems.

Title: Re: Breakdown delays Post by: Rogang on July 17, 2009, 22:30:30 1L20 was indeed the culprit.105 minutes at Bourton with reversible down line working around it and alternate Bristol-Pad services via B&H. When 'fixed' it was 50mph max to Paddington reached 139 late!
