Yes, if you consider it downtic too

BTLine, I could replace Radstock by Wantage Road or Kenilworth ...

Well, it happens to be an anagram of

    Pardon no trains
    Melksham screwed
    Dreadful coincidence, taxicabs twelfthly overpriced
    Spits t'dirt

That's not particularly interesting, though :)

I could have sworn that Melksham hadn't even made it to the initial table (though it could have been there in place of Montpelier).   Isn't it fun what you can do (especially you, TJ) with anagrams!

Think "magic" ... and it's a square

I think I have made this too obscure.  How many passenger platforms are there at each of these places? (Goodness - I hope I got them right!)

Do the number of platforms make up a Sodoku square?

A magic square where every row and column add to the same number?

Yes, that's correct ... and the diagonals as well!

Didn't spot that! How long did it take for you to make this? Or did you use a pre square template?

I knew they existing / the principle, and I used Google which took me here (http://www.markfarrar.co.uk/msqart01.htm).  Bit of manipulation (you can add on / take the same number off all elements and the table remains magic.

Biggest job was finding stations with some of the higher numbers of platforms ... is there anywhere in FGW territory with 8?
