Hey - I'm not widely travelled in the FGW nor am I a train spotter - but I think I've spent more than enough time on that line!

The only one I wasnt sure about was Morton as the engineering does not start until next week!  (I hope as I'm planning to get the 0624 tomorrow morning now im swine flu clear!)

Is 4 exeter?

And I'm only saying that because I've just been working out how to get to exeter university for a summer school and I noticed that there are three stations with exeter in the name!

Is 4 exeter?

I'm suspecting that it's Worthing ... but let's wait for Rick's verdict.  I was thinking Exeter (Exeter St. Thomas) rather than St Germans for No.1, but I think both might match the clues.

Both are correct, however SWT pass St Germans once weekly in each direction so I imagine it was St Thomas. (Even Melksham trumps that figure - 1 per day M-S  :D)

It can't be St Germans as SWT stop there.

4 Malvern?
6 Filton? Although I thought it now had 3 platforms.

I think 6 is Yate.  4 could have been Great Malvern but Malvern Wells station has been closed for a number of years.

I remain fairly sure that Worthing answers all the clues correctly for (4) ... but it's a long way from normal FGW territory, so may not be what Rick had in mind.

6 is Worthing Grahame, Well Done.

Worthing sees just as many FGW services that Melksham does  ;D :D

In fact, on Sundays it receives more!!!!

And 4 is Yate, well done all!  :-*

From the clues given, number 1 could have been Starcross as well!

Starcross doesn't have the word "St" in it.  It has the letters S and T, but not the word "St"!

So you've never heard of Saint Arcross, the Patron Saint of Masonry Cleaners, then? http://www.touchbristol.com/business/list/bid/3771712 (http://www.touchbristol.com/business/list/bid/3771712)

And don't try pretending he doesn't exist, because in a couple of days time you'll be able to Google him (http://www.millan.net/minimations/smileys/einstein3.gif) (http://www.millan.net)
