Do you recognise these men wanted in connection with two incidents which took place on the Gwent rail network earlier this year?

British Transport Police have issued their top ten CCTV images of people they would like to speak to in connection with a number of incidents which took place across the South Wales railway between August 2008 and May 2009.

The incidents include an alleged sexual assault in Cwmbran and an alleged indecent assault in Newport.

CID officers are now seeking the public^s help to identify the individuals in the photographs who they believe will be able to help them with their enquiries.

The man in the image labelled number four is someone detectives are keen to trace after a woman was allegedly grabbed and kissed while on board a train between Cwmbran and Cardiff on April 10 at 12.30pm.

Police said the woman was travelling with her disabled son when a drunk man started to fuss over her son.

It is alleged that the man then started to hug and kiss the woman and grab her arms and hair and pull her out of her seat.

The second image labelled as number eight relates to an indecent assault on a female train guard who was allegedly touched inappropriately while carrying out her duties on a train at Newport on February 28.

The incident happened at 6.41pm on a First Great Western train travelling from Salisbury to Cardiff.

Police said the man had got off the train at Newport station.

Detective Inspector for British Transport Police, Mark Cleland said: ^These are obviously serious offences that we are seeking a number of individuals for."

He added that the travelling public should be reassured that the railway remains a safe environment.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
