Glad to see 3 car 158's are back.

Take it as Bristol-Portsmouth line, not my area.

'Tis good picture.

I use that route quite often and I have to say that its one of my favourite stretches of line.

Yes, it's a brilliant picture, moonrakerz - thanks for posting it here!  ;) :D ;D

In fact, I was so cheered up by it, after the Tornado fiasco, I've just set it as my wallpaper - hope you don't mind?  :P

Chris  :)

I've also made it my wallpaper as its such a great picture. Wonder if you should submit it to a rail magazine?

I would have thought FGW might like to use it in publicity, it's so good.

According to my camera the photo was taken at 1351 on 4 June. It appears to be heading Salisbury way, which probably makes it the 1336 from Warminster going to Brighton !

I hate to say this - but I prefer the SWT one, their colour scheme is better !

Hmm.  I'd tend to disagree, actually - I prefer FGW's rather more restrained blue livery!  ;) :D ;D

Is the similarity in usernames sheer coincidence? :D

I think the SWT livery puts the FGW one to shame!

I think the FGW livery looks very smart, a modern look. Don't really prefer FGW's or SWT's, they are both good.
