It would appear most services are being divered via Melksham (including the first loco hauled run).

My sympathies both to the family of the deceased and to the train crew.

I presume the fatality occured North of Bradford Junction for this to happen then.

FGW website doesn't state what services are being diverted.

0909 Bristol - Weymouth ran normal route

1F01 was service affected. (0549 Bristol - Ports)

Yes, they obviously reopened the line just before, although it was delayed a bit.

Yeh, it did however call additionally at Freshford and Avoncliff, the latter which cannot take a 4 coach rake of Mk2s, so presume passengers were loaded through the BSO which would have caused a delay.
