Title: Tube staff in strike vote rerun
Post by: Chris from Nailsea on May 07, 2009, 18:23:47
From the BBC:

Quote
About 10,000 London Underground (LU) staff are to be re-balloted over strike plans linked to a series of disputes including jobs and pay.
The rerun of the voting follows a legal challenge by LU last month against a ballot which showed a five to one majority in favour of strikes.
The Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union is unhappy with proposals over pay and up to 3,000 job cuts.
Tube bosses said they were disappointed at the decision to hold another ballot.
