I'm rather surprised you didn't arrive in the capable hands of the FGW loco hauled set. That is of course if it goes to wherever that picture might be...!

That's a good point, devon_metro - but I tend to just catch the next train from Nailsea to wherever I'm going, without being too concerned about it having to be LHS, for example!  ;)

Aaah yes, Cardiff.

I seem to have some unfortunate effect on the working of the CDF - PMH trains. Whenever I'm sitting on platform 4 waiting for a train west the Porstmouth workings will be running like clockwork. But on the one occasion in the last year when I caught one is was a 2-car 150 vice 3-car 158 and didn't pull up to collect passengers until 30s after it should have left!

I tend to stay away from the Portsmouth service these days to avoid breaking it again...
