British Transport Police are operating a zero tolerance approach on railway crime during the summer holidays (link below.)

Acting Chief Inspector Barry Dalby , of Cardiff BTP , said: ^Users of the three Valley lines through Pontypridd can expect to see an increased police presence but we will also be focusing attention on all rail locations generally."
