Check ludlow to hemel on the first train of the day next thursday - single

The anytime is cheaper than the off peak

makes no sense

I think you will find that there are two routes.  Any permitted and not london.

The not london anytime fare is cheaper than the any permitted off peak fare.  Not an unusual occurance.
