Title: Shock rail crime figures for Truro Post by: RailCornwall on April 10, 2009, 18:57:06 TRURO has been named a hotspot for rail crime in the South West.
According to Network Rail, half of the 500 rail crimes recorded in the South West last year involved young people, and people in the Truro area were the fifth-worst offenders in the region. While overall railway crime dropped by 15% from 2007, the 2008 figure shows that many young people are still putting their lives at risk.
