Title: The story thus far
Post by: grahame on January 01, 2009, 11:13:47
Last week, I was answering a question relating to the "TransWilts" service - going through the history of the service that's run at the moment has such an apalling frequency and such dreadful timing and saying "how did it get into this mess and what could be done about it".  The answer turned out to be of (I felt) sufficient general interest for me to "blog" it ... so here are some links.

There is, I think, a complete book in this ... and it would have the hallmark of a good seller. Colourful characters, shady dealings, plots and subplots.  Bit light on the romance, I think.  Alas, though, Christian Wolmar has written a number of books along these lines.  Perhaps we could persuade him to do a "Wiltshire Fiasco" book?
