Title: Season Ticket Offer of Free Tickets
Post by: John R on December 08, 2008, 12:35:22
I received a mailer this morning reminding me to renew my season ticket. It talks about free tickets which will be sent shortly after renewal. I didn't know anything about these. Does anyone know what they are and how long has this offer been going, as I certainly didn't get any this year?

Thanks

I know absolutely nothing about it, strange.
Will have a word with marketing tomorrow.

Thanks Ollie. For reference the letter is titled "How far will your new season ticket take you?"

Saw a briefing today.  Can confirm that renewal of ANNUAL season ticket will give you 6 return tickets to be used anywhere on FGW trains.  Dont know the full details but it sounds a lot like the SWT offer where Andrew Haines used to work

Thanks Super TM.

Only if it's a renewal? (I ask, because I will be continuing with an annual season ticket but for a much longer journey.)

I'll follow this thread with interest as I've just renewed mine at the station, 6 tickets on top of 32% sounds even better.  ;D
