Title: Relief for 1753 Commuters Post by: John R on November 24, 2008, 22:24:53 Our favourite sardine can, the 1753 for Nailsea and beyond is going to be 3 coaches from the new timetable. This news comes from the latest Customer Panel minutes, which have now been posted on the FGW website.
Curiously, the minutes confirm that the loco hauled set is funded by the DaFT, not to strengthen Bristol area services, but to enable a Cl150 to be displaced to the south west to cover for a withdrawn evening XC service in the new timetable (which is mentioned in another thread).
