The Vatican may have Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel ceiling.  But Exeter is not that far behind ^ with the very similar St David's railway station staircase wall.  Now the station's murals, based on figures from the Italian's 16th century masterpiece, are set to be restored and attributed to the original artist, Bridget Green.  The former Dartington College student designed and painted the murals, which take various figures and poses from Michelangelo's chapel ceiling and adapt them for travelling scenes involving up-to-date figures.
