Title: Another First rail franchise criticised Post by: northwesterntrains on November 07, 2008, 11:47:40 First Transpennine Express has been receiving media criticism following the press release that First Transpennine Express profits are up by 18%. Many passengers are unhappy with overcrowding, increaseed ticket costs and fTPE running 2 or 3 car trains or diagrams that are supposed to be 4 or 6 car, as well as axing a Manchester Airport to Windermere service to be able to take over tha Manchester to Scotland services from Virgin Trains.
