http://www.thisisbath.co.uk/news/Passenger-collapsed-overcrowded-train/article-420311-detail/article.html Conditions on board were also made worse by the late running of a previous service to Gloucester owing to leaves on the line. This meant there were extra passengers using the already cramped train bound for Cardiff. Quote from: Civil servant Alex Hughes "It was all a bit surreal. The man who fainted was behind me and it all happened so quickly. "Someone went to help him and I tried to get a message to the front of the train but I didn't have any luck because it was so crowded." A First Great Western spokesman said it would like to apologise to any customers affected by the cramped conditions on the service. The company received reports of a passenger fainting at Bristol Temple Meads. Staff searched the train but did not find anyone needing assistance.
