Hi, Natalie, and welcome here.  I guess from your "450" handle that you're talking about some of the SW trains stock ... and does "South Wilts" refer to Dean station which is half in Wiltshire and half in Hampshire?

I understand that as from December, SW trains take over the local Salisbury - Southampton service, replacing FGW's shuttle from Westbury with an hourly train Salisbury - Romsey - via Eastleigh to Southampton then back direct to Romsey where it reverses.  Alternate trains to call at Dean and Dunbridge Mottisfont.  FGW will still run the hourly express in addition to the SW trains, and the extras to Brighton too.

Question ... do the changes (if I have it right) appear to be good news?   What's the feeling 'down there'?
