Having recently travelled on some other TOCs who also operate Mk3 coaching stock, you actually start to appreciate how modern and fresh FGW HST interiors look when you compare them with other operators Mk3 rolling stock which look rather tired and somewhat dated. If only FGW would do something about the awfully bright lighting though. Title: Re: FGW On YouTube Post by: John R on September 09, 2008, 21:35:54 Having started to enjoy my daily journey on an unrefurbed ex MML Mk 3 with tables, low backed seats, yes, it's a bit ragged around the edges but to my mind a much more comfortable and pleasant environment than FGW's refurb. (And I prefer GNER's Mallard Mk 3 refurb too.)
