Title: Charles 'running car on leftover wine'
Post by: Chris from Nailsea on July 01, 2008, 22:20:04
Prince Charles is running his 38-year-old Aston Martin on leftover wine as part of his pledge to cut the environmental impact of his royal lifestyle.

The Volante DB6 was a 21st birthday present from the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh but has been converted to be powered by bioethanol made from surplus British wine.

The Prince has also had his Jaguars, Audi and Range Rover altered to run on biodiesel made from cooking oil.
