The incident happened on Hedgemans Road in Dagenham, east London, at about 10:00 GMT, the Metropolitan Police said. Images of the aftermath posted on social media appeared to show that the roof of the bus had been ripped off. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended the scene where they found two injured women who were taken to hospital as a precaution, the Met said.
