Electrification of the Lickey Incline, and dramatic increases in services to Redditch and Bromsgrove appear close to being approved. Should anyone wish to peruse all 374 pages of it, see http://www.rail-reg.gov.uk/upload/pdf/368.pdf (http://www.rail-reg.gov.uk/upload/pdf/368.pdf) The Redditch branch and Bromsgrove electrification are on pages 160-161, and are listed as "Other schemes with strong business cases driven by revenue benefits". Cotswold Line is mentioned on page 159 and 360. There are tables near the bottom giving suggested budgets for enhancements etc, with what NR estimates and what ORR recommends.
