I can recall being delayed by over 24 hours, but this is of another order!   About to sail now

After five months docked in Belfast the Villa Vie Residences cruise ship could be about to set sail.

The ship, which arrived in Belfast to be outfitted on 30 May should have departed four months ago, but was held up as it needed repairs.

Passengers on the world tour were then left stranded in Belfast.

Yes, passengers have been waiting - from a month ago https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8jl3720yw3o

Passengers on a round-the-world cruise have been left stranded in Belfast for three months after their voyage was beset by delays.

Villa Vie Residences' Odyssey arrived at Queen’s Island in the Northern Ireland capital to be outfitted before it was scheduled to leave on 30 May for the first leg of a three-year cruise.

But the ship has still not left yet thanks to problems with its rudders and gearbox.

Florida resident Holly Hennessey is among those on board to have "hunkered down" and made the city their unexpected home.

Guests were put up in Belfast hotels each night but spent all day on board.
