Title: Open days for the Woking Electrical Control Room
Post by: Electric train on September 07, 2024, 16:26:28
Visit for a guided tour of the building which was constructed for Southern Railway electrification in the 1930s for the purpose of the power distribution network and contains several original Art Deco features.

Its no longer an operational electrical control room, but is preserved just as it was when the last shift booked off over 20 years ago
