XC introducing an emergency timetable for three months. Most NE-Reading trains gone, along with north of Edinburgh on weekdays and cuts on 170 routes.

The NE<>Reading axis has been very unreliable since it was partly re-introduced.

They were planning on reinstating most of the others next May IIRC?  If this temporary timetable both increases reliability on the remaining services, and if some of those are now lengthened, and if all this helps facilitate the full introduction next May then I am fully behind it.

Sadly, most journeys on XC remain a pretty miserable experience!

Looking at Worcestershire Parkway The main problem seems to be that Currently The Cancellations of 170 operated services are covered by very short term ammendments and stop orders on Voyager operated services.

If they stick to this temporary timetable the early morning services to Stanstead and Cardiff are removed so driving to Bromsgrove to go North/East or Cheltenham to go to the South west/South Wales will be the only option.
