Ms Clacher said: “She has to first travel by bus from Gwersyllt to Wrexham bus station where she has to wait 45 minutes for a second bus to take her to Wrexham Industrial Estate, in all it’s a two hour commute. If you add in the return journey that is four hours of this young woman’s time spent travelling, every day. The fact is that the service is not good enough. I have a problem with that ... 2 buses an hour from Gwersyllt into Wrexham Bus Station, journey time 12 minutes. Then 2 buses an hour on to the Industrial Estate taking 16 minutes. One could take many cases of two points in a large town that are eight miles apart that do not have a convenient bus service, and sometimes that convenience or lack of it depends on exactly where the passenger lives. At least the residents of Gwersyllt have a railway station.
