Title: Bring back Golden Rail holidays?
Post by: grahame on July 03, 2024, 15:04:22
Not silly at all. IMHO a package holiday at Butlins, including rail travel from a selection of major UK cities could be popular. And much greener than driving or flying.
Ah yes. Golden Rail holidays https://trainstobeyond.com/2017/08/02/1974-uk-golden-rail/

I remember getting £2 commission for each "Golden Rail" booking we did, got nothing for "Superbreaks" though not that this clouded our recommendations..... honest ;-)
