Title: Landslip on the Filton Diamond? Post by: johnneyw on April 07, 2024, 13:37:26 We've got family living by the Filton Diamond who sent me this picture of works going on at the back of their house. First they knew of it was floodlights and chainsaws at early o'clock in late March clearing the bank. Looks like quite a landslip to me but the line (Parkway to Patchway/Severn Tunnel) is still open....and there seems to be no speed restriction going by the rate that some of the freight trains seem to have gone by.
Has anyone got a bit more info on the works that I can pass on?
