Title: London Day Travelcards
Post by: GWR 158 on January 19, 2024, 19:50:55
Hi all,

I am planning to travel between Basingstoke and London Waterloo several times in one day, would I be able to use a London day travelcard for this?

Does a travelcard offer unlimited travel between the points shown on the ticket?

Thanks in advance,
GWR 158

No - it offers one journey from the outer point show on the ticket into London and one back out, plus unlimited travel within London.   I used one (from Woking) on 1st November at it was retained by the Woking barrier when I came back out.

If you plan to make the journey 3 times or more, a weekly season ticket will be your cheapest option. Ticket only to Waterloo and use your Oyster or debit card for the Underground/bus journeys to benefit from daily capping.
