Title: HST photo question: is this Weston Super Mare Post by: Mark A on November 28, 2023, 14:23:53 A photo from 6th April 2010, the Tuesday after easter Sunday (& 5:30 in the afternoon), which surprised me as it looks to be from another era. I can't recall much about taking it - would this have been a Crosscountry HST and is this Weston?

The stock is MK2 air conditioned and definitely not HST as the seats align with the windows. Probably either a charter service or stock hired in to cover a particular need.

However, The Great Britain III was timed (no actuals) into BRI at 15:08 and by 17:28 should have reached Bath on its was back ECS to Ddicot. So unless it got very lost turning round ...

(Also, less than 15 years ago and the photo feels like it's from a different era...)
