Title: "You can travel to the station by bus" - oh no you can't here! Post by: grahame on November 08, 2023, 15:44:46 From GWR on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/gwruk/posts/pfbid0vLC2Ne4abFas2EyGKAkEATnWLN7xzFMRDiBRKxUdtfo8mrGe9nxvNajxha4q1R4wl)
Quote You can travel to or from the railway station by bus for just £2, until 30 November 2024 Wherever you’re off to, it’s better value to go by train and bus Without wishing to state the obvious - this does not apply to stations that do not have public bus services. Get on the bus here, give the driver your 2 quid, and he'll drive on past the top of Station Approach and only stop to let you off at Aldi, Blenheim Care Home, the Baptist Chapel on Broughton Road, ASDA or Roundstone depending on which route and direction the bus is going. We don't have "PlusBus" [in Melksham at least] so the following may not apply ... PlusBus has a restricted local area - the £2 fare will take you further Can you buy plusbus rail fares as you board the bus or from ticket machines or indeed from the GWR app?
