Title: Saturday 28th October - further problems Post by: Trowres on October 28, 2023, 22:59:53 "Points failure" at Wootton Bassett Junction closing the down line route from Swindon to Bristol Parkway today. Cardiff / Swansea services running on the (reversible) up line to avoid the affected route.
This evening, more flooding between Wootton Bassett Junction and Chippenham, closing the down line. Down services to Bristol using the up line reversibly. Compared with last week, relatively little impact: delays 53 minutes for the worst affected service; mostly much less.
