'I live on a train as it's cheaper than renting - I feel like I'm always on holiday'

A woman shared how she decided to move out of her rented apartment and opt to live on trains as it was cheaper - and she loved the freedom it gave her, feeling like she was always on holiday.

After an argument with her landlord, German citizen Leonie decided to pursue a nomad lifestyle and spend all her time on trains, and it worked out cheaper than renting. The student bought an annual pass for £300 which meant she could board any train in Germany for free.
